JERI WARREN is a public speaking, acting and dance professor who received her B.A. in Communication Arts and Dance from Marymount Manhattan College and her M.A. in Theatre Arts from U.C.L.A. As head of the Drama Department at Las Positas College in Livermore, CA, she built the theatre department from eight students to eighty and developed the curriculum now used in the department. She taught drama and dance courses, directed and choreographed theatrical productions, and led the program to recognition by the American College Theatre Festival. The theatre program, under her guidance, also received the Outstanding Service Award from the Veteran's Administration for performances given at Veteran's Hospitals. Jeri Warren became a first person columnist for the Winter Haven Ledger, Middlesex News and Minuteman Chronicle and is a playwright, screenwriter and blogger. She studied screenwriting at N.Y.U. and wrote Their Presence, CCD and Once Upon This Time. Her play Holiday Memory was produced and performed at Las Positas College. Jeri's passion for teaching has brought her to teach at the High School of the Performing Arts in New York City, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Emmanuel College and Connecticut College. She is currently a professor at Mount Wachusett Community College in Massachusetts.
